A very pleasant morning, dear
gathering! My sincere greetings and regards to Honorable Principal, respected
teachers and all my dear friends ! It gives me immense delight to express my
views on the topic “Benefits
of early rising”.
“Early to bed and early
to rise, makes a person healthy, wealthy and wise.”
Most of us do not like waking
up early but early rising gives us innumerable benefits most of which we can't
probably even think of. Rising early means waking up before the sunrise at
about 5.00 or 6.00 or sometimes even at 4.00 a.m.
Waking up early seems a
challenging thing but if we make a habit of sleeping early then we can develop
a good habit of waking up early. It is proved that people who wake up early
become healthier, happier, wealthier and wiser.
The first benefit of early
rising is that we feel refreshed and active throughout the day. All that begins
well ends well! If we begin our day energetically, there is a greater
probability that we shall have an exciting day ahead and a satisfactory sleep
at night.
People these days keep
complaining about having less time or no time at all. The only solution to this
is to start the day early so that there is enough room to accommodate all our
tasks, chores, activities and plans in an organized way. As we wake up
early our day seems longer and we can carry out various activities and tasks
throughout the day without postponing anything.
Students and
young learners have a chance to learn new concepts or study or do their
homework early in the morning.
Early rising benefits people of
all age groups. Elderly people who need rejuvenation can go out for a morning
walk; children and youngsters who desire to channelize their energies to myriad
tasks can go out for a revitalizing jogging and cycling.
For our metabolism to function
well, we must exercise and exercise must be done early in the morning because
the weather is free from all kinds of pollution and there is plenty of oxygen
for us to breathe. Moreover, we get enough time to do exercise, yoga and other
physical workout as the day begins early. This is how we can become
physically and mentally fit and active.
It is believed that our
concentration and attention levels are high in the morning. Early rising also
reduces our stress levels because we begin our day very early and there is no
problem of incomplete work or pending work.
Hence, if you don’t develop a
habit of waking up before the rest of the world awakes, you won’t be able to
change the world for changing the world demands us to change ourselves first.
