Asking for permission

'Can' is a very common and easy word that is
used to ask for permission. However, in a situation where more politeness is
required, we can use the following expressions both in written and oral
communication and in formal and informal situations as well.
Here is a list of expressions to be used to
ask for permission.....

· I’d like to go with
you. Can I?
